In 1988, Testament, the Bay Area thrash band, released their sophomore album, The New Order. Thrash was breaking through to the mainstream and Testament, who were there from the beginning of the genre, were coming with them. The album cracked the Billboard 200 and charted across Europe as well. And so, as you would expect, the band got out on the road in support of their new record. Testament toured across Europe and the States, their US tour featuring such bands as Vio-Lence, Voivod, Overkill, Destruction, and more. This original Testament shirt, deadstock with light sun fading on the front, is from the band's 1988 US tour in support of their sophomore album The New Order.
