Superchunk are an indie rock band from Chapel Hill, NC. They were founded in 1989 and helped define the North Carolina scene of the early 90s, one that was very much centered around the band's record label Merge. They took a bit of a break at the beginning of the 2000s after a decade of intense touring and releases, but have remained steadily active again since 2010. The band has released over ten albums to date, and most of it has been done with their long-running lineup of Mac McCaughan, Laura Ballance, Jim Wilbur, and Jon Wurster. This original Superchunk shirt features their logo from No Pocky For Kitty and has light wear.
