Suburbia is a 1984 film written and directed by Penelope Spheeris. Spheeris had directed her debut documentary, The Decline Of Western Civilization, three years earlier. It was revered by critics and punks alike. Suburbia was also set in punk but it's a fictional account this time about young runaways. The movie started Flea and featured cameos from such bands as D.I., T.S.O.L., and The Vandals. Spheeris continued making films and eventually found more mainstream success with movies like Wayne's World and The Little Rascals. This original flyer, light green in great condition, is for a screening of Suburbia.
