Sublime were a ska punk band from Long Beach, CA founded in 1988. The band was founded by Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson, but they really came into their own when guitarist and singer Bradley Nowell joined on guitar and vocals. They released their own debut 40 Oz. To Freedom on Skunk Records but ultimately linked up with MCA. Sadly, Nowell passed away right before their breakthrough album was released. Their 1996 self-titled album went five-times Platinum. The band has since reformed with a new singer under the name Sublime With Rome. This vintage Sublime shirt from 2005 is a nicely faded and worn reprint of a classic design.
