Social Distortion are a punk band from Fullerton, CA founded way back in 1978. The band, which has always been fronted Mike Ness, started with a more aggressive sound, but as they settled into their first decade, Social D started to work in more of a blues rock and country style into their sound. You can see it in their art and logo and the band's overall style. And that's what established them as one of the greats. While, to date, they have only released seven albums, Social Distortion have regularly been playing and getting out on the road to fans all across the world. One of those records, though, was 1996's White Light, White Heat, White Trash. It was released by Sony's 550 Music. The album was a return to form, playing the kind of hardcore punk they played earlier in their career. It was a hit with fans, going to #27 on the Billboard charts. This vintage and original Social Distortion poster, with signs of aging and wear, is from the release of 1996's White Light, White Heat, White Trash
