Screeching Weasel is a pop punk band from Chicago, IL founded in 1986. They've broken up and reformed several times, but have always proved to be an important and influential group. Their brand of catchy and not-so-serious music was crucial in helping start a style of music that would become mainstream and massive in the early 1990s. Mike Dirnt from Green Day, one of the bands that took this style and ran with it, even briefly played bass for Screeching Weasel for a time. The band is still active to this day, with singer Ben Weasel still leading the charge. This original Screeching Weasel shirt from the 1990s is in great condition with minor fraying on the collar.
