Vintage Rolling Stone "Mick Jagger" Some Girls promotional poster

British rock group The Rolling Stones released the album Some Girls in 1978. The music landscape had changed a lot since the Stones started 16 years beforehand. Disco was on the rise, punk was tearing everything down, and good ole classic rock n roll was no longer at the forefront of conversation. But when the Stones put out Some Girls, things seemed to change around a little bit. The record went to  #1 in the States and #2 in the UK and has since been certified six-times Platinum. And of course Rolling Stone magazine knew it was going to be a hit, so for their 268 issue, the mag put singer Mick Jagger on the cover. The Rolling Stones on Rolling Stone, it always just works so well. This vintage poster, in good condition with storage folds, features the cover of the June 1978 issue of Rolling Stone magazine where Mick Jagger appeared smiling from ear to ear on the cover, happy with the release of Some Girls. Would look great in a frame!

Dimensions: 25.5" Wide by 30" Long
