Ronald Reagan, an actor, was elected to the office of the President Of The United States in 1980, serving two terms starting in January 1981 until 1989. During his tenure, Reagan led the US into a rightward shift, abandoning unions and cutting taxes while also bulking up military spending. For many in the country, this was too much. Musicians spoke up against the Commander In Chief, like at the 1987 Rock Against Reagan concert in Washington, DC. Coinciding with the 4th of July, a group of musicians and bands spanning many genres, like Dharma Bums, Christ On A Crutch, Undead, Front Yard, Braille Party and many more, got together to protest the then President. This original Rock Against Reagan poster is in great condition with a few light marks.
