Release was a straight hardcore band from Edison, NJ founded in 1988. They played a style of music heavily influenced by Youth Of Today and the youth crew scene, which is to say it had positive, thoughtful lyrics over aggressive yet danceable music. They released their demo in 1988 and then followed it up with a 7" entitled The Pain Inside on Axtion Packed Records the following year. Sadly, the band split up in 1990 but released another 7" and split with Courage posthumously. Members went on to be in such bands as Floorpunch, 108, Ressurection, and more. This original Release 1988 demo is in VG+ condition.
