The 90s were, if nothing else, an exciting time in music. You had weirdo bands who spent the previous decade ruling the underground start to pop up and become super successful, mainstream acts. Bands like Nirvana or Sonic Youth set new precedents and expanded public consciousness. And because these bands who were breaking through usually had some previous ties from when they were basically nobodies, you got some really exciting shows and tours between seemingly disparate friends. Take for example Rollins Band and Red Hot Chili Peppers' 1992 European tour. Rollins Band was Henry Rollins of Black Flag's alternative band. RHCP were the funk rock band who, at that time, were just starting to release Billboard charting records that would cement them as one of the premier bands of their generation. They don't really have any business playing together, but they did, for an entire tour. This original Red Hot Chili Peppers Rollins Band crewneck, lightly worn in excellent condition, was originally only made for crew members on their 1992 European tour.
