Quicksand, the post-hardcore quartet fronted by Gorilla Biscuits' Walter Schreifels, broke up in 1995. The band had formed five years earlier and in that relatively short span they two albums on major labels and were well regarded by critics and hardcore fans alike. Thankfully, after a three year break, the band got back together. Their first show back after their hiatus was in Osaka, Japan. During that time, Japan was also hosting their 1998 Winter Olympics. Quicksand's initial reunion only lasted until the end of the year, as they broke up again after tour with the Deftones in the fall. Ultimately, they reunited in 2012 and have remained active ever since, releasing new music and regularly touring. This original Quicksand long sleeve shirt, in great condition, is from the band's 1998 reunion show that coincided with the Japanese Winter Olympics.
