Pulp are a rock band from Sheffield, UK founded in 1978. They spent nearly two decades rising through the independent ranks, and in 1995 they released Different Class, their second album with major label Island and perhaps the most important record of their career. The album featured the song "Common People" which was a huge hit for the band, going to #2 on the UK charts. It also won the 1996 Mercury Prize, and its status has only grown. This original (and small) Pulp ringer, with marks and spots, is from the release of 1996's classic Different Class and references "Common People."
