Positive Numbers Youth Crew Fest was a hardcore fest that ran from 1999 to 2005 in the Wilkes-Barre, PA area. Predating the current state of fest culture, Posi Numbers or Posi Fest, as it became colloquially known as, was early to the idea of bringing hardcore bands and fans from all over the country to a small town. It started out as a few hundred people for one day in April in Nanticoke, PA and ended as three days (not including the Thursday pre-show) for a few thousand people in Wilkes-Barre, all booked by one guy: Bobb Mac. New bands, like Mental, Desperate Measures, and Cold World, made a name for themselves while old bands that people never thought they'd see, like the Cro-Mags with JJ and Harley, Underdog, and Bold, got back together once more. In 2002, the festival took place at Homebase in Wilkes-Barre and featured the the Cro-Mags, American Nightmare, No Warning, Stop And Think, and many more. This original Posi Numbers fest shirt, lightly worn and faded, is from the 2002 edition of the festival.
