The animal rights advocacy group People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals, or PETA, was founded in 1980. They are an internationally known organization who promote a lifestyle that helps animals, urging people to not wear fur, eat meat, or experiment on animals. PETA is still strong at work today, advocating for the same ideals as they always have.
