My Chemical Romance, the New Jersey emo band, started in 2001. Three years later, MCR were the up and coming band. They went from scene darlings to MTV stars. Their debut major label release, 2004's Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge, was a massive success, with huge music videos and a newfound dedicated fanbase. Their followup, 2006's The Black Parade, was even more of a spectacle, a concept album about a cancer patient. MCR broke up in 2013 but got back together in 2019. This original My Chemical Romance shirt, in excellent condition with little to no signs of wear, is from the band's early days.
