The Misfits are a punk band from Lodi, NJ. Singer Glenn Danzig started the band in 1977. From their inception until 1984, Danzig and a revolving cast of characters wrote horror-themed rockabilly style songs with on-stage theatrics that were second to none. The band in its original incarnation broke up in the mid 80s, with members going on to form Samhain, Danzig, and Kryst The Conquerer. In 1995, after a legal battle, longtime Misfits member Jerry Only was granted the rights to use the Misfits name. Jerry then restarted the band with Michael Graves on vocals and released their comeback record American Psycho in 1997. This original Misfits shirt, in excellent condition, is from the band's 1997 American Psycho tour.
