Cliff Burton was the bassist of Metallica. He actually wasn't even the original bassist, that was Ron McGovney, but Burton definitely solidified what the rhythm section of the band was capable of. His intricate, melodic playing created a foundation for the band to build upon. Burton's playing on the early Metallica records, like Master Of Puppets and Ride The Lightning, was monumental. Impressive. Iconic. Sadly, he passed away in a bus accident on tour in 1986. His music lives on forever though. This vintage Spanish Cliff Burton memorial shirt is nicely worn and faded.
