Vintage Meat Puppets "Huevos" SST Poster

Meat Puppets, the Phoenix, AZ-based weirdo band, released Huevos, their fifth album, in 1987 on SST Records. The band was formed in 1980 and by this point had already significantly morphed from a more traditional punk band to a jammy, ZZ Top-inspired group. And that's kind of what Huevos is, from the Spanish-language name to the blues-rock song it's got the bearded fellas' DNA all over it. The album's artwork was done by Curt Kirkwood, the guitarist and singer of the band. Curt actually started the band with his brother, bassist Cris Kirkwood. Despite two shorts breaks, the band its still together to this day. This original and rare Meat Puppets promotional poster, in great condition with a small tear and creases from previous folding as well as various wear throughout, is from the band's 1987 album Huevos.

Dimensions: 27" Wide by 36" Long
