Man Ray was an American artist who spent the majority of life living and working in Paris. Born in 1890, he came of age during the turn of the century, a crucial time for the art world. Man Ray considered himself a painter first, but he was also a well-renowned photographer, photographing many of the famous artist ex-pats living in Paris. He made important photographic contributions to film that were influential to both surrealism and dadaism. Man Ray passed away in 1976. His art now sells for millions of dollars. This vintage Man Ray poster from 1988, in great condition with some edge wear, is an authorized reprint from his estate of his 1931 work "Flowers."
