In 1997, the metallic yet operatic New York hardcore group Life Of Agony released their third album, Soul Searching Sun. The four piece had found  great success early on in their career with their debut, River Runs Red. This afforded the band the opportunity to experiment with bigger studios and bigger producers. So for their third album, the band ended up in the Philadelphia suburbs at Studio 4 with the decorated producer Phil Nicolo, one half of the Butcher Brothers. Together, LOA and Nicolo created a more psychedelic sound that expanded the band's aggressive palate. The band found success with the song "Weeds," which went to #27 on the Mainstream Rock Chart, and went out on the road to support their new album. However, despite reaching new levels of fame, Mina Caputo, the band's singer, quit. They subsequently went on tour with Whitfield Crane, singer of Ugly Kid Joe, but ultimately disbanded shortly thereafter. Caputo rejoined the band in 2003 and they have remained active ever since. This original Life Of Agony long sleeve shirt, in great condition with a few small pinholes and tears throughout, is from the band's 1997 tour in support of Soul Searching Sun
