Life Of Agony are a hardcore band from Brooklyn, NY. The four-piece was founded in 1989 and quickly found their way to their own sound and scene. They had the melody of bands like Type O Negative and the aggression of New York hardcore, which is to say it was heavy and moody and mean all at the same time. They released their debut, River Runs Red, on Roadrunner in 1993 and became one of the premier heavy bands in the country. They were on Roadrunner and toured the world and were even on Beavis And Butt-Head. The band, which is still led by singer Mina Caputo and guitarist Joey Z, has had two small breaks, but overall LOA has gone strong the whole time even up to today, releasing records and touring consistently. This original Life Of Agony hockey jersey, in great condition, is from 1996, when the band was fresh off their sophomore album Ugly.
