Leatherface were a punk band from England founded in 1988. The group played a fast and scrappy style of music, but surely the most notable feature of the band was singer Frankie Stubb's tough vocals. After releasing four records in their initial run, the band called it quits for a period of time in the mid 90s before ultimately reuniting in 1998. When they got back together the band signed with BYO Records, the long-running punk label from Los Angeles, CA. Their first release with the label was a split with Hot Water Music in 1999. Sadly the band split for good in 2012. This original Leatherface soccer jersey, in excellent condition with light wear on the collar, is from early in their second period.
