KROQ, the Los Angeles-based radio station, really became channel we know in the late 1970s. Despite being founded in 1972 and tracing its roots back ten years earlier, KROQ was reborn and found a new voice and audience interested in alternative music and ideas. Two important DJs from that era were Al Ramirez and Chuck Randall. They came on board in the late 70s and offered soothing voices and good songs that accompanied you through your drives, your hangs, and anything else you needed them for. This original KROQ shirt from the 70s is in great condition.
