Vintage Kate Bush “The Lionheart Tour” Poster

Kate Bush only did one tour. Originally known as the "Lionheart Tour," the Tour of Life was a 28-show run across England and Europe in support of her first two records, The Kick Inside and Lionheart. Bush, who has only released ten albums but has been active for over four decades, planned the 1979 tour to have a narrative storyline throughout the set and implemented audio innovations (a wireless headset mic for Bush) so that she could both sing and dance. It was a commercial and critical success. Kate Bush would perform sporadically over the course of the next few decades but would not do an extensive run of shows like this ever again, except for her 22-night residency at the London Hammersmith Apollo in 2014 (that's not really a tour though...). This vintage poster, in excellent condition, is a reminder of one of the greatest singer's only tour, something we all wish we could've been at.
