In 2003, guitarist John Mayer and dreadlock alt rock Counting Crows went out on a nationwide tour. Mayer had just released Heavier Things and Counting Crows were supporting 2002's Hard Candy. The tour was a month long, from August to September, and focused mainly on the mid-Atlantic and New England. Both bands have continued on, but this pairing at that time was truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Mayer pre-tats, pre-PRS. Counting Crows at the end of their Ben Mize and Matt Malley rhythm section era. If you were there or wish you could've been, you'll need the tour shirt to show off. This original John Mayer Counting Crows tour shirt, lightly worn in excellent condition, is from the bands' 2003 summer tour.
