Georgia O'Keeffe was an American artist who was known primarily for her paintings, both abstract and of nature. She was born in 1887 and began painting at the turn of the century, studying and working in various cities throughout the United States. She began spending part of her year in the Southwest which would prove to be integral to her work. O'Keeffe died in 1986 at the age of 98. The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum was created in Sante FE, NM in 1997 and is still the home to the largest O'Keeffe collection. This vintage Georgia O'Keeffe single stitch shirt, in great condition, features a sketch of the artists.
