Engine Kid are a band from Seattle, founded in 1991. The band featured members of various local bands, like Brotherhood and Resolution, but inspired by Slint they wanted to do something different. So they started a trio that blurred lines between dissonance, monotony, and aggression. They toured frequently and released music often, releasing a number of EPs and splits on various labels and two LPs, including 1994's Angel Wings on hardcore staple Revelation Records. Engine Kid broke up shortly after its release and Greg Anderson went on to start Sunn O))) and Southern Lord Records. And when the trio reunited in 2021, they released their own music on Southern Lord. This original Engine Kid long sleeve, nicely worn and faded, is from their 1994 LP Angel Wings released by Revelation Records.
