Earth Crisis are a vegan straight edge hardcore band from Syracuse, NY. While the band was founded in 1989, they didn't assume the form we recognize today until 1991, that's when Karl Buechner switched from bass to singing and got members of Framework to join the band. Earth Crisis quickly grew into one of the most popular bands in the scene, both because of their metallic sound and their militant politics. They were signed by Victory Records and released a string of 7"s and LPs that cemented their place in the upper echelon of hardcore. They broke up in 2001 but ultimately reunited in 2007 and have remained active ever since and are still active, and vegan and straight edge, to this day. This original Earth Crisis work jacket, with light marks and spots, is tried and tested, just like the band.
