Duke University was founded in 1838. The school, which is located in Durham, NC, went by several names before they became known as Duke in 1924. While Duke is world renowned for their academics, they are equally as well known for their athletic teams: the Blue Devils. The Blue Devils play Division I and have won an impressive amount of national titles across many sports, including golf, soccer, lacrosse, and tennis.
