Dallas was a soap opera that ran for 14 seasons in CBS. The finale of the third season saw J.R. Ewing, the megalomaniac oil baron and show star, mysteriously shot twice. We found out later that J.R. survived but it took even longer to find out who did the shooting. The summer between seasons, CBS made "Who Shot J.R." a national craze. This vintage Dallas shirt, lightly worn with a few spots, is from the summer when we still had no idea who shot J.R. Ewing.
