Cipher were a hardcore band from Long Island, NY founded in 1996. The band began by releasing a series of demos and EPs focusing on an explicitly political message. In 2001, they released their first proper full length, Antidote. The album was pressed on enhanced CD (remember those?) and featured a music video for their already-recorded song "Reaching Higher States" from 1999's Protoculture. They went on to record two more albums for Uprising Records, the label founded by Vegan Reich member Sean Muttaqi. This original two-sided Cipher long sleeve, is deadstock with a few marks and spots from prolonged storage, features the opening lyrics to the band's song "Reaching Higher States."
