The Clan Of The Cave Bear is a 1986 film directed by Michael Chapman and starring Darryl Hannah, Pamela Reed, and James Remar. The movie was based on a novel by Jean M. Auel and takes places in ancient times. Hannah plays a young Cro-Magnon who is orphaned after an earthquake and ultimately raised by a group of Neanderthals. While The Clan was not a box office success, it was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Makeup in 1987. This original The Clan Of The Cave Bear, nicely worn in, is a promotional tee for the movie.
