Opus The Penguin is a character from Berkeley Breathed's comic Bloom CountyBloom County debuted in 1980 and ran for 9 years, winning a Pulitzer Prize and gaining national syndication from the Washington Post. Opus was a popular character who was born in the Falkland Islands and taken from his mother at a young age. This separation made him both literally and figuratively lost. This original Opus The Penguin shirt from 1986, lightly worn with a few light spots and marks, features an illustration of the famous Bloom County character.
