Vintage Black Sabbath "Seventh Star" T-Shirt

The 80s were an interesting decade for Black Sabbath. Ozzy left in 1979 and was quickly replaced by Ronnie James Dio. But Dio himself would quit by 83 only to be replaced by Deep Purple's Ian Gillian who recorded one album with the band. By 84, the band had essentially broken up. Guitarist Tony Iommi began working on a solo record in 86. Warner Brothers, Sabbath's label, ended up not letting Iommi release the record under his name, believing that having the Black Sabbath name attached to it would increase the sales. That brought us Black Sabbath's 12th "record," Seventh Star. The cover art bills it as Black Sabbath featuring Tony Iommi. Sabbath would return to form in the 90s, as both Dio and Ozzy rejoined the band at different times.  This original Black Sabbath tour shirt from 1986, in great condition, is from tSabbath's liminal days.
