Vintage Alice In Chains "DIRT" Empty Tie-Dye T-Shirt

Seattle, WA's Alice In Chains formed in 1987. The band broke through with their grunge scene mates Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden in the early 1990s and became one of the leaders of the new style of rock n roll, one that was equal parts gritty and plainspoken backed by distorted yet virtuosic musicianship. In 1992, AIC releasedDirt, their sophomore album, which featured many of the band's most popular songs, including "Them Bones," "Angry Chair,"" Rooster," and more. The record went to #6 on the Billboard Charts and has since been certified four-times Platinum. It was nominated for MTV Video Music Awards and Grammys. The band toured diligently in support of the album, going all over the world touring with bands like Ozzy Osbourne, Primus, Rage Against The Machine, and more. Sadly, singer Layne Staley died in 2002, but the band has continued on ever since, replacing Staley with William Duvall in 2006. This original Alice In Chains tie-dye shirt, nicely faded and lightly worn with a few pinholes, is from the release of their album Dirt
