3rd Rock From The Sun was a sitcom that ran from 1996 to 2001 on NBC. The show, which featured John Lithgow, French Stewart, Kristen Johnson, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, was about a group of aliens who come to Earth and posed as a normal family to try to research the planet. They settle in Rutherford, Ohio, a small fictional suburb of Cleveland. Hilarity ensued. They had a huge following and won awards. This original 3rd Rock From The Sun shirt, nicely worn and faded, is from 1996, the show's first year on the air.
