Vintage XKENTAX Straight Edge "Drug Dealer KIller" T-Shirt

"Straight Edge" is a song by Minor Threat. Released on their debut 7" in 1981, the song states a personal belief in not drinking, smoking, taking drugs, or using "a crutch." Almost soon as the song was released, an entire ideaology was founded around the lyrics, against the wishes of the band's singer. Many different interpreations came out of the singular song, including some stricter and more militant ones. In the 1990s, some people advocated for not only a personal connection to the idea but for a need to enforce it. Thus, slogans like "drug dealer killer" flourished. Sometimes it was tongue in cheek, and sometimes it wasn't. The scene has continued to change and the interpretations have changed with it, but the significance of straight edge has stayed a constant. This vintage "Drug Dealer Killer" from the early 2000s is deadstock in excellent condition.
