U2 released their third album War in 1983 on the Island label. The band worked again with producer Steve Lillywhite. The record, which is a bluntly political one with songs like "Sunday, Bloody Sunday" and "New Year's Day," was by far the band's most popular up to that point, going to #1 in the UK and reaching #12 in the States. War has since been certified Platinum many times over in the US, UK, Canada, France, and Brazil. This original U2 Shirt, in great condition with light spots from storage, is from the War era of the band.
