Vintage Title Fight "Warzone" T-Shirt

Kingston, PA's Title Fight went on their first full US tour in 2009. The majority of the band had just graduated high school, and on their last summer before going off to college (which they would quickly drop out of) they did two extensive runs: one down the east coast and one out to California and back with Foundation, Mother of Mercy, Alpha & Omega, and Gypsy. The US tour featured a stop at that year's Sound and Fury festival, held in Oxnard, CA at the El Rodeo Community Center. The fest itself was eventful: Drew Ferry was stabbed during The Rival Mob's set, Trash Talk played in an Uhaul, No Tolerance played as a five piece, and Floorpunch reunited. Title Fight released their The Last Thing You Forget 7" on Run For Cover that summer, on June 23, which coincided with the fest. Following standard practice, Title Fight made limited record sleeves for the new EP and shirts with the same design, both of which were a rip of WarZone's Don't Forget The Struggle, Don't Forget The Streets. Rip offs, or "homages" if we're being polite, were really big at the time. Everyone was doing them. So to pay tribute to the California weather and to their first time on the west coast, Title Fight made this limited shirt, this one in particular is lightly worn with light discoloration, that reads "Don't Forget The Struggle, Don't Forget The Beach."
