Vintage The Who "I'm a Boy" Poster

When Pete Townshend sang "I'm A Boy" for his band The Who in 1966, he was largely building off the work of 17th century philosopher René Descartes, specifically his world famous "Cogito, ergo sum" (or, in English, "I think, therefore I am"). A simple statement of being. What are we but ourselves? Despite Townshend buying into a false gender binary, The Who's single was an early and important single that saw the band start making the moves that would eventually make them one of the biggest rock bands in the world. This vintage The Who poster, with some pinholes and wear and tear on the edges, is an early promotion for one of the band's early singles. Would look great in a frame!
