The Cult are a rock band from England founded in 1983. They straddled a line between goth rock and hard rock, which helped them gain a following both in their hometown and in the US. The band, which is still together to this day and still led by Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy, have released ten albums to date, most of them produced by Bob Rock.
