The Breeders are a rock band founded in 1989. Originally by Kim Deal as a side project to Pixies, the band quickly put together a lineup, including Britt Walford of Slint, and recorded their debut LP Pod in 1990 for 4AD. The record was instantly well-regarded, and just as Pixies broke up in 1993, The Breeders followed it up with their sophomore album Last Splash which went on to be an enormous commercial and critical success. The record was certified Platinum, due in part to their ubiquitous hit song "Cannonball." The band toured in support of the record before splitting up in 1995. Since then, they have reunited two times, remaining active since 2008. This original Breeders shirt, lightly worn and faded, is from their 1994 tour in support of their classic album Last Splash
