Robert Pollard is the singer and lead songwriter of Guided By Voices, the quirky weirdo indie rock back from Dayton, OH. He writes many, many songs for them. But he also has a solo band. And he has other projects going, too. Basically, Pollard is one of the most prolific songwriters in all of modern music. And so, to help get some of this music out there, he formed his own label, Happy Jack Rock Records. The label originally released a subscription-based 7" series featuring album cuts and B-sides. The label has since released more than just solo Robert Pollard, but the bands are all basically strange Robert Pollard side projects. Their lineup includes bands like Circus Devils, Cosmos, and Mars Classroom. This original Happy Jack Rock Records shirt, in great condition, features the label's logo.
