Vintage New Order "Low Life" Peter Saville 1985 Texas Poster

New Order, the post-Joy Division band founded by Bernard Sumner, Peter Hook, and Stephen Morris in 1980, released Low-Lifein 1985. It was their third record together and, at the time, their biggest yet. The group was moving in new directions, embracing synthesizers and dancy rhythms. It charted across the world, even going to #1 on the UK Independent Album chart at the time of its release. And so with a new album under their belt, they went out on the road bringing the songs to the people. They toured the US and came to Austin  at the Austin City Coliseum on August 14, 1985. New Order have, of course, continued on into the present day, albeit in fractured form, though it's this early era that people still think of when they think of the band. This original New Order poster, in great condition with some light discoloration throughout and a center crease, is from their August 1985 show in support of Low-Life.

Dimensions: 11" Wide by 17" Long
