Claude Monet was a painter, an extremely important figure within French Impressionism. He lived from 1840 until 1926, ushering the fine art community into modernism and beyond. Monet is best known for his paintings of peaceful water lilies, many of which were scenes from his home in Giverny. This vintage Monet poster, in great condition with no flaws, is a promotional piece of a water lilies exhibit from the Walters Art Gallery in Baltimore, MD in 1998.
