Vintage Miles Davis "Gear Inc" T-Shirt

Miles Davis was a jazz trumpeter. He was born in St. Louis but he came of age in New York City, joining Charlie Parker's world famous band in 1944. It was during that time that jazz was transitioning to bop, and Davis quickly became the leader of that entire new scene. In 1959, he released Kind Of Blue which became a genre-defining album and a classic of 20th century music. He went on to continually change and challenge jazz, with free jazz records and big sunglasses. Sadly, Davis died in 1991 at the age of 65, but his contributions to jazz and popular music in general is still felt to this day. This vintage Miles Davis shirt from the early 90s, with light fading and wear, is an officially licensed tee featuring a contemplative portrait of the man himself.
