Howard Finster was an outsider artist from Georgia. He was an extremely prolific artist who created over 40,000 pieces of art as a way to spread his religious beliefs. Finster was a Baptist minister. But he was a well-known artist in the secular world as well. His art was used by such bands as R.E.M. and the Talking Heads. This original Howard Finster shirt, in excellent condition, is from a showing at the Berman Gallery in Atlanta, GA.
