Green Day, the Bay Area pop punk band, released Dookie, their third album, in 1994. The band had come up releasing records with Lookout!, an independent label from the Bay, but were signed by major label Reprise the year prior. With the release of Dookie, Green Day, guitarist Billy Joe Armstrong, bassist Mike Dirnt, and drummer Tré Cool, took the world by storm, selling millions of records and making themselves, and punk rock as a whole, a household name. Decades later, they are still at it and still at the forefront of melodic punk music. This original Green Day shirt, with some wear and light fraying around the front print, is from the 1994 release of Dookie.
