Vintage Funkadelic "Maggot Brain" T-Shirt

Funkadelic released Maggot Brain, their third LP, in 1971. The band, and the associated Parliament, were both led by George Clinton since their founding in the mid 1960s. Funkadelic took influence from many different artists and styles, such as Jimi Hendrix and MC5, and created a sound that was funky yet rocking and danceable all at the same time. Maggot Brain is considered by many to be their finest work. The record starts off with the lengthy title track, a near-10-minute guitar solo by Eddie Hazel. And from there on out, they lay down hit after hit. It's still regarded today as one of the best records from the band and of the era. This vintage Funkadelic shirt, nicely worn and faded, features art inspired by the band's 1971 album Maggot Brain. Fits like an XL but please refer to our measurements for exact sizing.
