In 1998, Connecticut hardcore band Fastbreak released their debut album after a run that included demo, two 7"s, and a split with Ten Yard Fight. The band, formed in 1994, started out as a traditional straight edge hardcore, but with the release of Fast Cars, Fast Womenon Big Wheel Records the band began to experiment with their aesthetic, including a kind of 50s style looking album cover. Their next album, Whenever You're Ready, was released by Revelation and saw the band furthering themselves from their straight edge hardcore roots, going into more melodic territory. Fastbreak featured members also played in In My Eyes, Cornerstone, and Piebald. This vintage Fastbreak tour tee, in great condition, is from when the band was on the road playing songs from the LP for the first time.
